La Ginestra was born from land abandoned for decades. We are located in the municipality of Sancasciano v.p., between Florence and Siena. Today we have 8 working members and 9 employees. We produce honey, pollen, propolis, cereals, vegetables, pasta, flour, wine, grappa, extra virgin olive oil and salami.
In our farmhouse we prepare healthy and delicious meals with our products. We do company visits, wine and honey tastings. We have been certified organic since 1989.
Cows and pigs eat cereals we grow ourselves. They live outdoors, fertilizing the same wheat fields that feed them. The honey is untreated.
The wine is neither filtered nor added yeast.
The cereals are of ancient varieties.
Honey and wine are produced on the farm from A to Z.
We instead entrust the milling and pasta making of the cereals to local artisans external to the company.
